    First time at Musikvereins new home ‚Kantine‘.

    Summer was full of great nights and the enormous open air ‚Burnout in Paradise‘ – now we broke.  (づ☉人☉)づ

    But we are happy, that our homebase Musikverein is still there, to support us.

    So we’re doing a great all stars club night, to pamper our empty bank account and soon be back with the best bookings and acts around.

Das spiegelt sich in geschmackssicherer Musikauswahl jenseits des Rosa-Mainstream-Geblubbers wieder, gebrochen mit gut dosierten geschmacksverunsichernden Trash-Momenten. We are post-cool, we are community. Von Musik über Flyerartwork bis zu Deko: alles im Geiste einer Queer Avantgarde/DIY Punk/Antifashista/Fashionista Idee.

    ORCHID versucht, nicht nur hedonistischer Community-Party-Treffpunkt zu sein, sondern hilft mit dem erfeierten Erlös über den Musikverein auch queere Künstler zu supporten und ein bisschen mehr urban international Queer Culture nach Nürnberg zu bringen – Mykki Blanco, Xiu Xiu, Le Tigres J. Sampson, Austra, SSION, Patrick Wolf, Hunx & His Punx, Le1f uvm. waren schon da.
